BF788 Redesign for Cummins B and C Series Applications | ||

We have redesigned the baseplate on the BF788 fuel filter to make the filter compat-ible with all applications on Cummins B & C Series engines. Previously, we offered two products, BF788 and BF7524, for various on- and off-highway applications. The new baseplate design provides the thread en-gagement necessary for all applications.
The BF7524 fuel filter may continue to be applied to 1990 and newer, on-highway, Cummins B & C Series engines, that incor-porate a single fuel filter. | New BF788's can be applied to all Cummins B & C Series engines/applications. The baseplate redesign requires the use of a new ES3094 (3/16" thick) post seal rather than the formerly used ES57 post seal. The prior design of BF788 using the ES57 may still be correctly applied to the off-highway applications for which it was cataloged. New BF788's will show a date code of April 14, 1994 (04144XXXXX) and beyond . | |
