Improved Baldwin PA2650 ECO II Air Filter | ||

Baldwin is pleased to announce a new and improved version of the PA2650 ECO II air filter. This Baldwin produced air filter provides several improved performance characteristics over previous PA2650 products. These features and improvements will provide the security needed in many applications of the PA2650.
In addition to providing the same levels of filtration life and efficiency, these new PA2650 elements now incorporate several new features which offer significant increases in the structural performance of the filter element. Centertube Support Unlike the product offered by the OEM manufacturer, only the Baldwin PA2650 incorporates a steel centertube to support the filter media. This benefit can be extremely important when operating in certain conditions such as high moisture or humidity. In wet element collapse tests, the Baldwin centertube design has withstood pressures greater than 2 times that of the |
OEM product before the filter element will collapse.
Outer Media Protection The new Baldwin PA2650 also incorporates a metal outer wrapper over the media which is unique to the Baldwin design. In addition to adding protection for the media, this outer wrapper also provides additional structural support. Prevention of Pleat Gapping Perma Pleat has been added as well as hot melt beading to the outside of the filter media to prevent pleat gapping in high air flow applications. These features also contribute to the structural capabilities that the Baldwin design displays.
