Baldwin Filters is pleased to announce the RS3548 as a replacement filter for the Donaldson P536142 air filter. The Donaldson product is a blue multi-layer foam radial seal filter developed for the new T2000 Kenworth truck.
Results of recent laboratory testing to compare the filtration performance of the RS3548 with the P536142 are shown below. These results are indicative of each filter's ability to remove and store the test contaminant (given as initial efficiency, accumulative efficiency, and contaminant capacity). Engineers (SAE) Air Filter Test Methods J726 JUN93.
As evidenced by the results of these industry-standard tests, the Baldwin RS3548 is clearly superior to the Donaldson product. The accumulative overall efficiency of the RS3548 is higher while providing up to approximately 40% more contaminant holding capacity. The higher capacity translates into longer service life with the Baldwin product.
The RS3548 is available now and as shown by these results, is an excellent replacement air filter element for the new T2000.
