Improved Baldwin B1422 Lube Filter For Acura Legends | |

Baldwin Filters is pleased to introduce the new B1422 lube filter for Acura Legend applications. The new B1422 will replace the previous B175 on these applications. The B1422 design utilizes many of the design features of the Honda 15400-PL2-305 original equipment filter. These features include overall length, filter diameter and baseplate configuration.
The design of the baseplate on the B1422 gives the filter an increased safety factor for |
installation by increasing the distance from the gasket to the baseplate.
The B1422 is approximately 5/8 of an inch shorter than the B175 filter and utilizes a thicker canister for added strength. The drawing below exhibits the differences between the previous B175 design and the new design of the B1422. The B1422 will be available for orders after May 1, 1997. We look forward to supplying you with the new B1422. |
