Baldwin Filters Participates in Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week

Baldwin Filters recently attended the 14th annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Las Vegas. HDAW brings distributors and suppliers from eight countries together for the largest North American meeting in the heavy-duty aftermarket.

“With over 20 one-on-one meetings, this forum gives us a unique opportunity to visit with key customers about their businesses and how we can continue to support their growth,” said Dave Amato, Director of Marketing at Baldwin Filters. “Baldwin Filters was represented by our Field and National Accounts Sales Management teams, as well as members of our Division Management Team. We appreciate the chance to understand what’s going on in the industry from our distributors’ viewpoint.”

“Getting to meet distributors one-on-one at this event allows us to keep renewing the dialog about our product lines and our customers’ needs. The energy at HDAW spurs innovative collaboration,” said Denis Williams, General Manager, Parker Hannifin Engine Mobile Aftermarket Division.

Baldwin Filters also participated in the HDAW Pinewood Challenge for the first time. Two entries designed by participants in Baldwin Filters’ Engineering Internship Program were entered in the race.

“Our internship program offers participants experience in air and liquid product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and research and development,” said Steve Zimmerman, Division Engineering & Product Management Manager, Parker Hannifin Engine Mobile Aftermarket Division. “Through designing and building the race entries, our interns were able to further develop their knowledge about engineering and project management.”

Challenge entries were not only judged on speed, but also on creative design. Baldwin Filters received first place for Concours D’Elegance (best designed and best looking truck) at the challenge.
